Train-the-Trainer Programme
The Train-the-Trainer Programme is the technical assistance track for service providers, as part of the Impact-Linked Fund for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (ILF for WASH). The programme is provided by the Social Finance Academy, an initiative by Roots of Impact.
The Train-the-Trainer Programme aims to establish a strong foundation for local service providers (incubators, accelerators and advisory firms) in two areas: impact measurement and management (IMM) and investment readiness (IR). The curriculum is based on international best practices and methodologies on both areas, as well as contextualised examples. Throughout the programme, the participating service providers are invited to reflect on their existing practices and identify gaps which they can fill with the new knowledge gained.
Once selected, service providers have access to different online resources, including learning materials, live training sessions, recorded lecture videos, templates and toolkits provided during the programme. After passing a rigorous performance assessment, the successful service providers get certified to provide targeted technical assistance to eligible WASH enterprises in the Foundational Support Programme.
