Train-the-Trainer Programme
The Train-the-Trainer (TtT) Programme is the technical assistance (TA) track for (sector-agnostic) TA service providers, as part of the Impact-Linked Fund for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (ILF for WASH). ILF for WASH is co-designed and implemented by Aqua for All and Roots of Impact.
The TtT programme is implemented by the Social Finance Academy, an initiative launched by Roots of Impact and by LightCastle Partners. Aqua for All leads the screening and selection of the TA service providers, and oversees the WASH contextualisation of the training sessions.
The overall goal of the TtT Programme is to build a strong foundation for local TA service providers incubators, accelerators and advisory firms in two areas: impact measurement and management (IMM) and impact investment readiness (IIR). The curriculum is based on international best practices and methodologies in both fields, enriched by contextualised examples, templates and toolkits provided throughout the programme.
TA service providers that successfully complete the TtT programme get certified to provide targeted TA to eligible WASH enterprises in the Foundational Support Programme.
