Ms Blanca Méndez - Aqua for All

Ms Blanca Méndez is a Communications Manager at Aqua for All.  

For more than 25 years, she has held different global corporate and marketing communications functions in international organisations. Before joining Aqua for All, she worked for impact investor Oikocredit International for over 12 years where she built broad experience in investor relations, sustainable agriculture, fair trade, renewable energy and inclusive finance. 

Blanca has also extensive experience advocating for human and women’s rights and environmental issues. As senior communications lead, she managed the global communications and campaigns of the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights. She was also a founding board member of Wo=Men, Dutch Gender Platform, established in 2016. At Tropenbos International, she promoted the sustainable management of forests in tropical landscapes worldwide. In her home country, Perú, Blanca worked for several NGOs and governmental bodies advancing women’s empowerment and sustainable development. 

Blanca is a passionate advocate for gender equality, diversity and inclusion. Besides working for Aqua for All, she is a member of the Supervisory Board Wo=Men, Dutch Gender Platform.  She holds a MSc in Corporate Communications from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
