Mr Arco van der Toorn - Aqua for All

Mr Arco van der Toorn is a Senior Programme Manager at Aqua for All. Since 2015, Arco has been involved in programme management and project financing for WASH programmes in Africa and Asia. 

He graduated as a Civil Engineer from TU Delft, with specialisations in project management, water supply, wastewater disposal and contract management. He has more than 35 years of professional experience of which 22 years in overseas water supply and construction management projects. Since 1996, he is active in utility finance and financial/economic assessment of water projects. He gathered substantial experience with project financing, feasibility/ viability studies, designs and O&M models. In the Netherlands, management positions were held at Water Supply Companies Oasen and PWN and Consultant DHV.  

Arco is a team player, people manager and a skilled negotiator. He is flexible, focused and client-oriented, combining well-developed interpersonal and analytical skills. His excellent contract management and evaluation experience is shown through numerous assignments in The Netherlands, CEE countries, Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.
