W2AF PRITAP for WaterKiosk Kenya - Aqua for All

As part of the Water Access Acceleration Fund (W2AF) established by Danone Communities in partnership with Incofin IM, Aqua for All is providing non-repayable grant funding to finance Pre-Investment Technical Assistance Projects (PRITAP) for a number of potential W2AF investees to address the key weaknesses and gaps to scale and build a pipeline of investment-ready enterprises.

One of the selected enterprises is WaterKiosk, a Safe Water Enterprise that uses solar-based desalination systems to clean highly saline and/or brackish water, especially targeting the off-grid communities. The company has operations in Kenya, Somaliland and Tanzania with further plans to expand in the Sub Saharan region.

The pre-investment TA provided by Intellecap will help WaterKiosk to build a robust system to report accurate operational and impact data (finance and non-financial metrics), develop and implement effective sales, marketing and communication strategy and better understand its human capital needs.
