Strengthening Water and Sanitation SMEs
Aqua for All partners with growth‑stage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that are ready to scale their proven water and sanitation solutions. We offer smart grant instruments and technical assistance to remove barriers to growth, strengthen commercial and operational maturity, and unlock additional public and private investment.
If you are interested in support, please carefully read the Application Guidance document linked to the right. This document will provide more detailed information on the type of grant instruments we offer, eligibility criteria for enterprises and application processes.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Your initiative is responding to one of our active calls for proposals.
- The activities are being led by a (social) enterprise or commercial entity matching the minimum requirements
- Create impact towards SDG 6 (drinking water and sanitation) and focus on one of our priority topics. Please see our Application Guidance and Open Calls for more details on thematic focuses.
- Active in our focus geographies – East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia); West Africa (Senegal and Ghana); South Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam); Middle East and North Africa (Jordan and Egypt)
- Bring resources for co-financing in addition to Aqua for All support
If your initiative aligns with these criteria, you are welcome to submit a concept note via our online platform. Your concept note will be careful reviewed by our team. If your application is succesful, you will be invited to submit a full propsoal.
