ILF for WASH Foundational Support (IMM & IR) for ART PESOUNG - Aqua for All

The **Foundational Support Programme** is one of the [++technical assistance++](https://aquaforall.org/ilf-for-wash/ilf-for-wash-technical-assistance/) tracks available for impact-driven WASH enterprises, as part of the Impact-Linked Fund for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene ([++ILF for WASH++](https://aquaforall.org/ilf-for-wash/)). The programme is supported by the [++Social Finance Academy,++](https://social-finance-academy.org/) an initiative by Roots of Impact.

The programme aims to transfer knowledge and skills from certified service providers to WASH enterprises in two areas: **impact measurement and management (IMM)** and **investment readiness (IR)**. At the same time, the goal is to embed these areas into the specific business model of the selected enterprises.

One of the selected enterprises receiving support on both IMM and IR is Assainissement Rural Pour Tous Pesoung (hereinafter referred to as ‘Art Pesoung’). Art Pesoung is a women-led early-stage social enterprise specialized in the construction and sales of ecological toilets in rural areas. These ecological toilets are made of compressed earth bricks and non-drainable pits to capture methane gas for biogas generation. Furthermore, the entreprise operates in the construction and management of public toilets in urban areas. These toilets also have a Menstrual Hygiene Management booth and offer payment via mobile money.
