To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Impact Officer!
The role
We are looking for a candidate with a keen interest in impact monitoring and evaluation, specifically in analysing impact data and reporting. You will work closely with programme managers, project partners, and our internal teams to develop results frameworks.
Furthermore, you will monitor and report on impact results, develop and maintain results dashboards, analyse impact data, and support the presentation of findings. You will be responsible for the coordination of Aqua for All’s Making Water Count 1 end report. You will coordinate impact initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing to drive meaningful change. Supported by the impact & knowledge team, you will work closely with other teams and stakeholders, making a significant impact.
Responsibilities

Impact Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse impact data and results derived from various projects and programs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations highlighting key findings and insights. There will be a focus on the MWC1 end-report (deadline April 2026).
- Develop and maintain user-friendly impact dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Present impact data and insights to the Management Team, team members, and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Impact Framework Development:
- Collaborate closely with programme managers and project partners to develop comprehensive impact frameworks with measurable indicators for transactions with enterprises.
- Ensure that impact measurement frameworks align with the organization’s strategic goals and funding requirements.
- Approve M&E frameworks before project contracting, ensuring clarity and alignment with impact goals.

Monitoring and Compliance:
- Actively manage progress related to project reporting deadlines, ensuring timely submissions.
- Maintain robust tracking systems to monitor progress across various impact measurement initiatives.
- Lead IATI reporting, handling data submissions to meet international transparency standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and documentation requirements, fostering a culture of data accuracy and integrity.

Strategic Initiatives and Knowledge Sharing:
- Contribute to strategic impact initiatives, including the integration of impact considerations in project proposals (focus on transactions with enterprises).
- Support knowledge and learning efforts, conducting impact assessments, case studies, and in-depth learning studies.
- Collaborate with teams to provide input to knowledge sharing products, including WASH courses, IMM courses, website content, case studies, lessons learned, and impact reports.
What you bring
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, International Development or Environmental Studies;
- 2-4 years of experience in impact monitoring and evaluation, or a related field.
- Strong experience in coordinating impact data across complex programs;
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation;
- Knowledge of online monitoring systems and impact measurement tools;
- A passion for and expertise in impact management and a commitment to organizational goals;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Residence or working permit for EU countries.
