Technical assistance
Technical assistance enhances the quality, sustainability and scalability of water and sanitation enterprises and solutions, making it a vital component of our market development and impact finance solutions.
It can be used for capacity development, knowledge transfer or addressing specific needs through consulting. Our technical assistance is designed to build long-term capabilities, foster alignment, support the development of effective scaling strategies, de-risk investments and enhance overall impact. Through an in-house technical assistance facility, we coordinate efforts to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and standardisation.
Aqua Clara Kenya: Technical assistance alongside Social Impact Incentives (SIINC)
Aqua Clara Kenya is a social enterprise selling water and sanitation solutions (including water filters) across East Africa. In 2023 and 2024, Aqua for All provided Aqua Clara Kenya with technical assistance in key areas such as investment readiness, SIINC preparation and capacity building. This support was crucial to the enterprise’s growth and sustainability.
By offering targeted technical assistance, we enabled Aqua Clara Kenya to secure a €350,000 investment from an impact investor, helped the enterprise establish a solid data foundation for its SIINC transaction and assisted in diversifying its customers base and revenue streams.
