Mr Prateesh Prasad

Mr Prateesh Prasad is Impact and Knowledge Manager at Aqua for All, where he works to ensure capital is deployed in the most catalytic and impactful way possible. His work sits at the intersection of impact, ESG, and investment decision-making, asking whether each transaction deepens impact, builds sector capacity, and creates conditions for lasting change.
In this role, Prateesh leads impact due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and results verification, while driving the organisation’s knowledge agenda through research and thought leadership that positions Aqua for All in the broader water and sanitation sector.
What distinguishes Prateesh is his ability to see how financial and impact logic connect in practice. He brings analytical rigour to questions that often stay qualitative, and asks impact questions in rooms that often stay financial.
Prior to Aqua for All, Prateesh spent nearly a decade in investment advisory and management consulting across India, Africa, and Southeast Asia. He built his financial foundations working with impact investors and high net worth individuals on deal execution, project development, and value creation across agribusiness, renewable energy, and EdTech. He later moved into the development sector, supporting European donors in managing portfolios of non-profits and social enterprises, and working directly with organisations navigating the transition from grant funding to sustainable business models.
Outside work, Prateesh holds a voluntary board position at a German non-profit. He follows developments in AI and sustainability technology, and is drawn to long-term value investing philosophy. He enjoys spending his spare time hiking and cooking.
