Mr Leonard Obuna - Aqua for All

Mr Leonard Obuna is the Impact and Blended Finance Manager for East & West Africa. He has a background in Banking & Finance, Credit Risk Management, and Structuring of Blended Finance Instruments with Financial Institutions and Impact Investors.

Before joining Aqua for All, Leonard was the Portfolio Manager at Inkomoko, where he oversaw loan portfolio growth for Refugees and the Host Community in East Africa.

Previously, Leonard worked as a Business Advisory Services Provider for the USAID’s Feed the Future Program, where he sourced, originated and structured Commercial Debt and Equity Instruments for SME’s in the Agriculture Value Chain across East Africa.

Previously, Leonard was the Head of Credit Origination for National Bank of Kenya in charge of Credit Risk Analysis and Management as well as structuring of conventional and Islamic Credit facilities for Corporate and SME clients in Kenya.

Leonard is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), and holds an MBA in Finance.
