Project summary
73% people lack access to safe water in Satkhira due to salinity, arsenic, and climate change. People spend more than BDT 600 taka/month for fresh water or spend 2/3 hours daily in fetching water from far sources. We offer to establish a jar based water transportation system where fresh water from ground is extracted, treated, Jarred and transported using local vans to the doorstep of people. Quality of the water is better than current sources and the cost is less, contributing to safely managed drinking water and providing us an opportunity to serve 10000HHs and run sustainable business
