TsinjoSoa: COVID-19 resilience for sanitation in Antananarivo, Madagascar - Aqua for All

Loowatt Sarl (LWS) is a Madagascar-based social enterprise pioneering waterless flush container-based home toilet services in low-income communities under its brand name ‘Tsinjo Soa’ (Malagasy for well-being). To safeguard access to sanitation services and maintain service delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, Aqua for All supported Loowatt SARL. The funding was used to take additional safety measures, such as alternate modes of transport and PPE, launch a behavioural change campaign as well as to hire and train temporary staff as a replacement for employees in quarantine.
