Project summary
The Adventure Project is a US non-profit organisation that “adds venture” capital to create jobs in developing countries, focusing on Environment, Health, Hunger and Water. They are applying on behalf of activities carried out by Water for People in Uganda.
Water for People is a non-profit that promotes drinking water and sanitation services using their “Everyone Forever” model in the Kamwenge District. Response Facility support was used to meet higher demand for water during the pandemic. This was achieved by constructing a booster station for water supply in highly elevated areas and providing handwashing stations and water supply to healthcare facilities that were experiencing COVID-19 spikes.
