TapEffect is a piped water system in Cambodia operating in a region near the Thai border, covering an area of approximately 2,300 households. In 2020, they constructed a filtration and storage system in order to provided piped connections to households in the area.
Because of COVID-19, many members of the community have had financial hardships and have not been able to cover the initial start-up costs associated with connecting to the water system.
