Project summary
The program will build capacities of 10 selected SACCOs with to provide water/sanitation financing solutions for both households and community-based water enterprises active in their locality. The SACCOs are serving both urban and rural communities through their branches located in different counties accross Kenya.
– The 10 SACCOs will mobilize **KES 225 Million (EUR 1.76M)** towards lending to households and MSME clients (Leverage 1:7)
– The program targets **2000 households** (200 per Sacco) and **250 MSME clients** (25 per Sacco)
– 2,250 loans will be disbursed
– 12,500 people will be reached (8,250 female)
– 1250 jobs will be directly and indirectly created
