Project summary
The Lootel (Loo of a hotel) is an IOT based restroom concept. Providing high-quality restroom services with a pay, Use, and Redeem concept, user needs to pay for restroom usage and the user can redeem restroom coupons at Lootel café for food and beverages bill.
Lootels centres were closed in March 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions set by the Indian government. Cash income stopped and consequently payment activities like salary, rent, supplier payment, and other utility payments could not be carried out. Aqua for All’s Response Facility support was used to keep the organization afloat, pay salaries and rent. At the same time more IoT hardware will be tested to be able to provide higher hygiene standards
