Project summary
The JERRY water filter, based on membrane technology, is designed to be mounted on a jerrycan. It is small, affordable and easy to transport and use. It fits the most common type of water container that people use to transport and store water.
The JERRY is designed in the Netherlands by start-up FortheMany and is now piloted in different countries, among which Ethiopia and Kenya. In this project, with the supporting services of BoP Inc, a deeper analysis of the marketability of the filter is made in order to enter the Ethiopean and/or Kenya markets.
