ILF for WASH - Aqua for All

The Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector shows a clear financing gap, leaving innovative solutions behind and vulnerable populations unserved. An Impact-Linked Fund for WASH (ILF for WASH) can fill the gap by providing acceleration support and catalytic financing to mobilize private investment and scale impact enterprises in the WASH sector in Africa and Asia. Impact-Linked Finance1 combined with ILF-Ready Technical Assistance, ensure the right type of (financial) support is provided to enterprises at different stages of their development. By building upon the successful SIINC2 for WASH program piloted by Aqua for All and Roots of Impact and by using proven (financing) mechanism, the ILF for WASH has strong fundaments for making a real difference.
