Project summary
Geoseismic Water Company is a private water service provider that supplies water to a vulnerable community located between a peri-urban part of Nairobi and a rural part of Machakos County. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they faced issues such as increased demand, the inability of customers to pay bills in a full or timely manner, low pumping rate due to poor pump condition, high power bills and spotty power supply.
Response Facility support was used to increase overall water production and coverage.
