Project summary
Kenya Private School Association (KPSA) consists of 11,000 private schools across Kenya, which have experienced a number of setbacks due to COVID-19. Some of their main challenges are related to WASH needs such as increased water quality and quantity, handwashing infrastructure, and adoption of good hygiene habits in schools.
The Response Facility funding is used to design and implement a package to help KPSA members adapt to the pandemic environment. This includes adopting WASH requirements compliant with the Ministry of Education and helping the association members to secure commercial finance for WASH needs.
