DGB Plastique Mali - Improved water management for plastic recycling - Aqua for All

DGB Plastique Mali SARL was created in March 2017, by youth entrepreneur Oumar Diaby. The company is engaged in the procurement and transformation of plastic waste. The plastic waste is cleaned, shredded, granulated and then transformed into products in high demand by the construction sector (gray plastic tubes mostly for electricity cables).

In partnership with Aqua for All, DGB will increase its capacity to recycle waste plastic, implementing water recycling and filtration system. In the next year, this will remove 840 tonnes of waste plastic from the environment, save 1.2 million litres of potable water, distribute drinking water to 30 households and create 50 jobs for women and youth.
