Project summary
SJP is a social enterprise that is facilitated and supported by Water and Life Bangladesh, a local NGO branch of Eau et Vie France. SJP functions as a mini-utility in the slums in Bangladesh that provides at-home water connections, solid waste collection and latrine access.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, activities were put on hold and challenges were faced due to the financial situation of households in the slums. Response Facility support was granted in order to help the staff safely continue activities, provide Covid-19 awareness in the slums and attract new customers through promotional activities and fares.
