Project summary
YY Ventures has partnered with Aqua for All and Bopinc to launch the WASH Innovation Challenge in Bangladesh. This programme supported 12 teams that have creative and market-driven solutions for the WASH sector in Bangladesh, with a 4-day boot camp and 1-on-1 coaching to provide opportunities for training, mentoring and networking to develop their solutions.
The winning solution, Uttaran Communities Ltd received a cash prize, and top participants were invited to apply to the Making Water Count programme. Smaller follow-up support was offered to four further innovations in order to continue their development and pilot their products and services.
