AKYAS Sanitation - Aqua for All

[b]The project aims to adapt and implement a new container-based sanitation system with a sustainable business model among rural households in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The system provides safely managed sanitation, on-site fecal sludge management, and upcycling of fecal waste into valuable by-products. We will evaluate the social acceptability of the system and test different business models, and prepare to scale the solution to reach more households. The project’s goals are to improve access to sanitation and upcycle fecal waste in a financially sustainable manner within the local toilet economy[/b]
