In partnership with Impact Hub Bamako, Crosswise Works, and IRC, we have launched the Dji Ni Sanya acceleration programme in Mali. Aqua for All is funder and co-creator of this business accelerator programme aiming at strengthening 8-10 PMEs in the Malinese water and sanitation sector.
Participants will be selected by a call for applications. Their enterprise must have a minimum turnover of 6,000,000 CFA per year, between 5 and 50 employees, and 2 or more years of existence. Besides, the enterprise needs to be formally registered and active in the water and sanitation sector in Mali.
Businesses will be evaluated on their potential to scale. Special attention will be paid to aspects as sustainability, gender, and employment conditions. From August 2022 to February 2023, the selected companies will undergo intensive business training on four levels: entrepreneurial, market, operations and technical. Together with our partners, we will identify the enterprises’ growth potential and their specific needs. In addition, funding and technical assistance will be provided to the selected businesses.
Impact Hub Bamako will deliver training and coaching sessions related to the operational capacity of the selected businesses, while IRC will assess their water and sanitation practices. Crosswise Works will evaluate the businesses’ current capacity and work with Impact Hub Bamako and IRC on tailor-made coaching. Aqua for All will be a key player in the selection of the PMEs and will share its learnings and best practices with the partnering organisations.
Applications are open until Sunday 04 June 2022 at midnight GMT.
