Build a climate-resilient water and sanitation business with Aqua for All

Published: 2nd June 2026

Climate change is increasingly disrupting water and sanitation services, affecting reliability, operational costs and long-term business viability. For water and sanitation enterprises, resilience is no longer a “nice-to-have”; it is a business imperative.

Floods, droughts and other climate hazards can directly affect operations, financial performance, and the ability to attract investment. Strengthening climate resilience enables enterprises to better manage risks, maintain service continuity and position themselves as credible, investment-ready partners in an evolving funding landscape.

To support this transition, Aqua for All offers targeted technical assistance and climate-focused funding to help enterprises assess climate risks and implement practical adaptation measures.

Through tools such as the Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) and structured Climate Adaptation Planning, water and sanitation enterprises can:

  • Identify operational, financial, and environmental vulnerabilities
  • Strengthen business resilience and continuity
  • Improve long-term sustainability and impact
  • Increase readiness for climate and blended finance opportunities
  • Develop and implement practical climate adaptation solutions

Apply for climate resilience support

Are you interested in support to:

  • Better understand your climate risks?
  • Identify and implement climate-resilient solutions?
  • Strengthen your business sustainability, contributing to investment readiness?

Selected enterprises may receive:

  • Non-financial technical assistance and/or
  • Direct grant support for identified resilience projects

The funding value is between USD 10,000 and USD 30,000 per enterprise, based on Aqua for All’s assessment of its Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) and the identified needs.

The next step is the selection of enterprises to proceed with the development of a Climate Adaptation Plan.

We encourage eligible enterprises to apply and explore how climate resilience can strengthen both business performance, investment readiness and long-term impact.

Eligibility

The following entities/small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are eligible to apply:
