Many impact investors want to develop their WASH portfolio, but they lacked indicators to assess their current and potential WASH investments.
To address this knowledge gap, the WASH Action Group of the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP), led by Aqua for All, has completed a project to identify a set of priority indicators for impact investments in WASH. The WASH indicators are compiled in a report produced by Jeroen Trimpe Burger, consultant of Rebel Group, with contributions from e-MFP members.
As a next step, the WASH Action Group will start a pilot to test the indicators among a wider group of impact investors.
