Over the past two months we have been carrying out a few tasks:-
1. Erecting an 80feet tower where the gateway antennae will be placed: This will help improve the transmission of the signals between nodes for a longer distance as compared to our previous ranges.
2. Looking at the design of existing metres & technologies used to find out what it will take to design an integration with long range capabilities that will fit onto most of the meters already installed by different types of consumers.
