What topics are you working on and/or do you have experience with?
Biogas, water & sanitation, bio-waste centres, waste management, recycling, waste water treatment.
Community driven solutions combining the above, and specialised in 'applied' technology, where the users are key to success, including capacity building programs.
We work with schools, individuals, community groups, prisons, public institutions, other NGOs and farmers. We work both in urban and rural areas.
We have also started a social enterprise where people are trained to become entrepreneurs in selling, installing and producing 100% locally produced solar water heating systems, adapted to the Kenyan market, and a third of price of imported systems. The system can be produced without power and tools, and is low-tech.
What are you looking for in the VIA Water Community (partners, skills, advice, knowledge, etc)?

What knowledge, expertise, skills do you have to offer?
Applied renewable technology (design & implementation), community development, and excellent project management and innovative and creative thinking in the context of Africa. Linking Water & Sanitation, waste management and local energy solutions, thereby empowering the community.
