Africa has the chance to leapfrog over the 20th century infrastructures and take the world lead in developing the future city, a city based on sustainability, big data and smart city technologies, the sharing economy and the business models of tomorrow. Leaders from various sectors all over the world come together to brainstorm, innovate and inspire during 'The Future of Africa' Conference in Nairobi in Kenya, June 9th-11th. Followed by key note speakers, panel discussions, exhibitions and a hackathon on the 9th and 10th, there will be a mayors summit on the 11th where the mayors of major cities of Africa come and discuss their challenges and possibilities.
