The Clean Team (WSUP and Unilever in Ghana) provides and collects portable home toilets two to four times a week and customers pay for this. Three 'off-the-shelf' technologies are being tested to treat the waste: Sistema Biobolsa, Biorock and Biofill. The initial trial results have been presented at the 38th WEDC conference.
