KWR’s City Blueprint Approach (CBA) has been incorporated in this European Forum Report on Water (preforum version) for the 8th World Water Forum 2018. We are using the quote of Kofi Annan to stress the need for a coordinated global approach to collect data on water, waste and climate change in cities. Unless water management and water governance processes are significantly improved within a decade or so, cities are likely to face serious and prolonged water insecurity, urban floods and/or heat stress, that may result in social instability and, ultimately, in massive migration.
