Women Business Centres and Innovative Financing for Upland Water Management in Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh - Aqua for All

In order to address inadequate[color=black] access to safe water and sanitation for minority communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region of Bangladesh and improve health and wellbeing, the proposed pilot will work with seven established women’s business centres (WBCs) to reach approximately 10,000 under-resourced individuals in remote parts of the region with safe water and improved sanitation. This pilot will work with local partners to test the efficacy of enterprise-based water provision and innovative financing models which position women as leaders in sustainable WASH in their communities.[/color]
