What would Africa look like in 2100?

Ton Dietz, Professor at the African Studies Centre Leiden, gave a lunch lecture at UNESCO-IHE sharing his view on one of the pathways of Africa's development. In the 1 hour engaging lecture, he covers consequences of rapid population growth for the future of the world and for Africa: urbanization, migration, resource competition, prospects for economic growth and political turmoil and takes into account what the global dynamics (slowing down of economic growth, and the start of the Brexit-Trump era) means for Africa.
