Although sector studies on ICT applications become outdated rather quickly, this WSP report gives a very good analysis of ‘lessons learned’ and ‘key issues’ to get ICT projects for the WASH sector in Africa more sustainable and scalable. It starts a bit slow in the first 10 pages, but then you are quickly attracted to real cases with an analysis of failures and successes. The report is well accessible for non-ICT experts, and is putting the social factor at the heart of the requirements.
