Seventeen African VIA Water project owners will visit the VIA-GO week in the Netherlands to pitch their innovations and network with Dutch institutions. You can meet them on October 30th, see below for more information.

VIA-GO is a training week for project owners that are in the final stage of their project and are exploring possibilities to continue their project when funding ends. It takes place during the Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November. Topics that will be discussed are: finding additional funds and ways to approach it, constructing and implementing a sustainable business case. The projects will also be networking with- and learning from Dutch institutions.

There are three ways for you to become involved in this programme.

Drop the MIC Pitching event
We warmly welcome you on Monday the 30th of October, from 1.30-3.30PM at Amsterdam RAI. VIA Water will organise the Drop the MIC Pitching event during the first day of AIWW. All participants will give a short presentation on their project, you will be able to interact and find a suitable match. You will also be able to have a meet & greet with the water representatives of several Dutch Embassies in Africa. After the event it is possible to visit the opening ceremony of the AIWW Conference.

Field visits
On Thursday the 2nd of November each project owner will have their own field visit. Would you like to invite a project owner to your workplace or project? Please send Friso Vos de Wael (f.vosdewael@viawater.nl) an email with the project that you are interested in and give a short motivation why they should visit you. Attached below you can find an overview of all projects present during VIA-GO.

Conference
If you do not have the time to be there on Monday, and don’t have the facilities to invite a project for a field visit, you can still interact with the projects. On Wednesday November 1st all project owners will visit the conference of the Amsterdam International Water Week.
