After a successful kick off involving Kenyan water experts on Tuesday, the Chezo Serious Gaming team is now embarking on a series of start up workshops in which the concept of serious gaming is explained. A serious game is fun, has a meaning and involves reality. Next week the Train the Trainers workshops will be given. Many of the participants of these 2 workshops are expected to join the Game Jam as well which will be held in October. The best ideas that come out of this weekend long game development session will receive funding to take their games to the next level.

The objective of this project is to initiate a serious gaming industry in Kenya through the organisation of serious gaming start-up workshops to train trainers in order to scale up beyond the immediate beneficiaries of the project to set up a serious game jam and initiate collaborative projects.
