After receiving feedback during game testing sessions in Ethiopia, LeAF reached out to Dr Joske Houtkamp from Utrecht University and Wageningen University and Research, to further improve effectiveness of the developed games.
Though games have been increasingly used worldwide for educational purposes, only since recently methodology about game design has been elaborated and adopted by the scientific community.
Together with Dr Houtkamp, we started working on improvement of the game “Green & Clean School” – focusing on increasing its engaging aspects.
We hope that within a short time a BSc student from Utrecht University will start a research on this topic, and that we can within coming months present the outcomes of the research to the audience.
