Household demonstrations

During the mid-term evaluation we visited several households participating in the adoption trials. These households have been observed while following their usual cooking routines using charcoal as well as when they were trying two different types of gasifier stoves with fuel-pellets and two different types of improved cook stoves with briquettes.

Households shared their experiences and one women lit a cook stove with briquettes for us to observe the way it burns. Trials with households and institutions have been completed and we look forward sharing the detailed findings.
