On december 9, 2017 Mr Chege and our Agronomist from Kenya Leah Waweru trained the first group of women farmers who are located in Nyamagabe, Gatenga. This cooperative is composed of 35 members and they are have disability and have other farming activities such as banana and arrow root farming. We decided to start with the Gatenga area that is located in the Kicukiro Disctrict because this area experiences draught and it is in the peri urban area which is our main focus.
