Gilbert Demonstrates how AWS works
UNDP in partnership with Meteo Rwanda had invited technocrats to design a climate early warning system on Internet of Things (IoT). The hackathon was held in Kayonza District, Rwanda between July 18-23.
We (Gilbert and Dominique) were invited as mentors, an opportunity we also used to mingle with other key players of the weather industry in Rwanda. Among the participants were Meteo Rwanda, MIDIMAR, RISA Rwanda ministry of Agriculture. We made presentations on what SWC is doing in Rwanda, and TAHMO (partner organization) is doing in East Africa.
What a great opportunity to meet some of the key players in your field and to share your skills and experiences. What did you take away from them for your own project?
