Spatial map of some car washing stations in Kumasi Metropolis

Using google fusion tables, we are mapping the location of all car wash stations in the Kumasi Metropolis. An attribute table will be created which will comprise all their characteristics such as source of water, energy, number of cars washed per day, volume of water used, etc. This will be imported to ARC GIS for further analysis. Proximity analysis of car washing stations with waterbodies in the Metropolis will be carried out using ARC GIS. According to Ghana's buffer zone policy, the recommended buffer widths for minor perennial streams must be 10 to 20 meters. After mapping these washing stations, we will compare with the stipulated widths from waterbodies in the Metropolis.
