Our project was invited to speak at the Smart Agri Conference held in Nairobi in April 2018, where we outlined the potential of multi-loop aquaponics to contribute towards increased food security in Africa. Our low-tech, small-scale farm in Nairobi was contrasted with a high-tech large-scale farm planned in Namibia's desert. Both farms follow the same design principles, but focus on different farmers/farming groups.
