After 7 months in the making; 3 months in the digester, 1 month in the drying beds and 3 months co-composting, the first batch of Safi Sana's organic compost is ready for sales. It is branded 'Asase Gyefo' (Saviour of the Earth) and is sieved and grinded before being bagged to ensure an optimal composition for farmland use. The first exposure to the local farmers was very positive and we currently have a negative stock, outstanding orders being higher than our inventory. Over the next months we have planned open field trials to test the effect in combination with our seedlings. More on these later.
