Weir at gully C

Last month, at the final workshop for Sponge City, Acacia Water made another visit to Kajiado town. Here, we finally got to see the interventions after implementation. Especially the weirs at the northern gully were very exciting to see; this gully lies right on top of the most productive fracture aquifer of the Kajiado town area, and the added recharge from the weirs will strengthen its capacity. A more suitable location could not have been chosen, a great result all thanks to the careful work and detailed analysis of the project partners.
