Adama Konate presenting GeoWaQu including first results in maps

Adama Konate (SOMAGEP) had the honor of presenting the GeoWaQu project at the AfWA conference during one of the technical sessions on Wednesday 14 February. The conference was a great success: started on 11 February with a women, youth and mayor forum; opened officially on Monday 12 February with several ministers from Mali and other African countries present; the conferences included 1 symposium, 4 panels and many technical sessions in the theme of SANITATION (Tuesday) and WATER (Wednesday); ending Thursday 15 February with a closing ceremony and field visit to Kabala (the new water plant of SOMAGEP) among others. The conference was a success with over 1200 attendees and a very professional exhibition hall. SOMAGEP also presented the GeoWaQu project on a screen in the exhibition hall, answering in detail questions to the many interested. It was a great week and thanks to AfWA and SOMAGEP for organizing this great conference!

Thanks for sharing the AfWA experience. Must have been exciting, being  the centre of the African water world for some days. Could we get some deeper insights on the reactions of people to your presentation(s) and innovation? (and a nice picture of the displayed screen/poster in the Hall?).
