IT Tool SEMA Program Manager
My name is Jemyma Randy-Cofie and I am the newest member of the dloHaiti | Untapped SEMA team taking on the role of Program Manager. I commenced on 16th April and my role entails assessing, implementing, and reporting on the IT-based tools for the small water enterprise (SWE) sector in Ghana and Rwanda.
I have worked the past 12 years as a Project Manager and Solutions Engineer, after my return to Ghana from my intrepid journey around the world as a youth. I have worked in various industries with increasing responsibility and authority in each of my roles. I join this team with the hopes of adding another layer of success to the IT development efforts to scale and replicate SWE operations.
My experience covers a number of organizations as well as two noteworthy multinationals that serve a different industry than dloHaiti | Untapped Inc. But, I should have no difficulty making the transition to a new industry as I have done so twice in the past.
During my two years at Vodafone Ghana, I project managed and led the development of numerous small to large systems, most notably a national Distribution management system which services the numerous distributor points of sale across Ghana. This achievement garnered a visit from the Vodafone Global CFO and Vodafone Regional CEO for Asia, Africa and South America.
I pursued an undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Wagner College, New York and hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information and Communication Technology from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. I am experienced in both Agile and Scrum methodology, software development and product and operations management. Additionally, I am also a Certified PRINCE2 Program Manager.
I have spent the majority of my career working for corporate bodies and now look forward to the next chapter in my life helping the less fortunate and marginalized of society. I eagerly await the implementation of our revolutionary IT Tools which will support increased economic growth and better standard of living in underserved African communities through this project.
In my spare time, I love to cook and learn new languages. I am also a proud holder of a 1st Dan Black Belt in Karate.
Dear Jemyma. Welcome to our Community!! Happy to see that DLO-Haiti was able to find a programme manager in one of the two countries in which the data tool will be tested! Hope you can overcome the time gap with our Community, but I am sure Barnabas Apom can help you out.
