W2E Exhibit during Innovate4Water Kisumu

_"Innovate 4 Water" marketplaces bring together dynamic ecosystems of water nexus* stakeholders - social entrepreneurs, impact investors, large and small companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, UN agencies, incubators, etc - who are mainstreaming responsible finance towards impactful sustainable WASH entrepreneurial ventures, thus contributing to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 6._

Waste2Energy participated in the second Kenyan Innovate4Water Event organised in Kisumu. Kisumu being the county of project implementation, it was exciting to be able to exhibit and pitch during this event.

Greenergia K Ltd prepared a booth were the different products e.g. fuel-pellets and briquettes developed during the project period were displayed and information shared with a diverse audience. The event in Kisumu was also an opportunity to meet government officials and partners to discuss possible partnerships.

The visit to Kisumu was combined with the end-evaluation meeting by the partners on site. It was a time to reflect on the project journey as well as a time to plan ahead for what is to come. Finally, we were able to welcome VIA Water to visit the site and jointly reflect on the Waste2Energy Project.
