Since we have now completed the preparations for the GeoWaQu project and SOMAGEP has started taking the first measurements, we finally had our official GeoWaQu launch! During the launch the SOMAGEP explained the project and gave a demonstration on the AKVO Caddisfly tool. There were short introductions from the project partners: AKVO, VIA Water and Waternet. The launch was held on Tuesday 19 December 2017 at 9AM @Salle de CODIR, SOMAGEP Directorate Office, Djicoroni Para, Bamako with over 40 participants from different organisations. It was a great success with interesting discussions and a good way to involve other people in the project.
