Drawings of wastewater treatment plant for Tamale project

The SSN project in Sakasaka/Salamba settled on an integrated wastewater treatment process with the integration into the existing trickling filter plant Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) . This integration process will allow the wastewater treatment facility to treat about 40m3 of wastewater. The three stages now (septic-to-ABR-to-trickling filter) will enhance the treatment of BOD etc. whiles retaining substantial values of nitrate etc essential for use in agriculture production.

The designs incorporates also sampling points for constant monitoring of levels of organic load and other essential parameters entering the treatment plant for quality assurance.
